Teams
More than one person on the same pages, monitors and incidents.
Your team
Every account is a team with the account as its owner. Its status pages, alert destinations and API keys belong to the team. On Free and Hobby the owner is the whole team; on Pro others can join. The Team tab under Account lists who is on it.
Inviting
The owner and admins invite by email address, as an admin or a member. The invitation works for 7 days. The person opens the link, logs in or creates an account with that address, and joins. A team holds up to 25 people.
Roles
- The owner is the account: billing, blocks and overage on the Subscribers tab, naming the team and deleting it with the account.
- Admins also invite and remove people and make API keys.
- Members run pages, monitors, incidents and alerts. An update a person posts in the dashboard shows their name there; the public page does not name anyone.
Each person is a box on a page's Alerts tab, off until someone ticks it. See Alerts.
Seats
Pro includes 3 people, the owner among them. Each person after that is $5 a month, billed with the subscription at the month's highest count, like subscriber blocks. A team that moves off Pro keeps its people, who cannot open it until it is on Pro again.
Several teams
Someone on more than one team picks the one to work in above the menu. Their own team is always there.
Two-factor sign-in
Anyone can set up an authenticator app under Account. The code is then asked for after the password and after Google or GitHub, unless the browser was trusted in the last 30 days. Owners and admins can require it for the team: people without it work only in their own team until they set it up. API keys are not affected.
Leaving and removing
A member leaves from the Team tab; the owner and admins remove people there. Either way the person's boxes on the team's alerts go, and the API keys they made for the team stop working.
